Job description / Role
- Responsible for all production aspects of a contract.
- Ensure a profitable completion of the production aspects of the contract according to the contract specifications and the quality and safety standards within the specified time schedule.
- Plan the execution program in stages as per main contractor’s work progress plan.
- Provide technical support and training to the Site Engineers on the execution, commissioning and troubleshooting of MEP works. In addition to Train, direct and supervise the execution team.
- Manage the MEP services subcontractors
- Manage the procurement of MEP materials.
- Chair the weekly coordination and progress meetings with main contractor, subcontractors, consultant, and client.
- Prepare, review and submit the monthly claim in coordination with QS.
- Review and submit the Variations claims.
- Representing the company variation meeting to finalize all dispute variation and commercial issues.
- Preparing, review and submit the works and target program for the MEP works with planning Departments, also given the action plane for any Quick/urgent works.
- Preparing the procurements schedules for the MEP materials; including the MS materials submission status.
- Inspect and monitor the installations, commissioning and testing of MEP works during and after construction.
- Issue notices and work orders related to site to the relevant authorities.
- Review and interpret plans, blueprints, site layouts, specifications and construction methods to ensure compliance to legal requirements and safety regulations.
Requirements
Nationality - ARAB
Bachelor's degree - Electrical Engineering,
Experience - Min.10 years experience (Gulf)
Worked Projects - High Rise Buildings; Hospital; Malls; University
Languages - Arabic (Must) ; Fluent in English
