Description

AHS is searching for a diligent MEP Quality Officer to join our team and uphold the highest standards of quality within our Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing quality assurance processes related to MEP systems, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards. You will play a critical role in delivering exceptional quality outcomes for our luxury real estate developments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor MEP work in progress, identifying and reporting any quality issues or non-conformities.
• Review and verify MEP submittals, shop drawings, and materials for compliance with project requirements.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality assurance and control plans for MEP systems.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, and construction teams to promote quality awareness and compliance.
• Document and maintain records of inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions taken.
• Provide training and support to project teams on quality assurance best practices and MEP standards.
• Assist in preparing quality reports for management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and technological advancements in MEP systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Experience in quality assurance or quality control within MEP systems (3-5 years preferred).
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction processes, and quality management principles.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations applicable to MEP installations.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certifications related to quality assurance (e.g., CQI) are a plus.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
