Job description / Role
- Regular client progress reports and any relevant quality documentation as detailed within the company guidelines
- Monitor and track project progress and ensure the contract has the required resources and materials available to meet with the client requirements and successful close out.
- Communicates ongoing work schedules and project progress with on-site team and upper management when requested
- Liaise with the local authorities and municipalities with jurisdiction over the project to ensure full compliance with their guidelines and requirements.
- Attend Site Progress Meetings and MEP Coordination Meetings to discuss and resolve any design or construction issues with consultant and/or Clients Representatives
Technical Duties:
- Reviews original consultant plans and drawings to develop an overview of the project and have complete understandings of both civil/structural and MEP construction activities
- Prepares/reviews material and technical submittals to ensure their conformance with the contract requirements and specifications
- Daily site inspections of construction activities to detect /stop any deficiency before it happen
Site Duties:
- Issues work clearance; schedules work and monitors work in progress
- all electrical items installation 1st and final fixation
- Site coordination with other trades
- Site Supervision and manpower control
Requirements
- Degree holder of Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 + years of work experiences in MEP works in civil construction projects. Experience gathered GCC countries o Middle East is a plus.
- Should be aware of electrical systems generally
- Has knowledge of new electrical design and equipment.
- Has a high level of proficiency in written and spoken English.
