MEP Technician

We are seeking a skilled MEP Technician to join our dynamic team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in various projects. The MEP Technician will ensure that all systems are operating efficiently and safely, adhering to all local regulations and standards. Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on MEP systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in MEP systems, providing timely and effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute installations and repairs accurately.
- Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory of materials used.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of new technologies and systems in the MEP field.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to address concerns and provide updates on project progress.

- Proven experience as an MEP Technician or similar role, with a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards in the UAE.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment related to MEP systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if required.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
