Merchandise Manager - Bakery up to 17k Aed for a Leading Supermarket Group in UAE
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Directly report to Sales Development Manager
• Responsible for the availability of goods in the store as per merchandise strategy and store business plan. Selecting local vendors and suppliers and supporting contract negotiations.
• Ensuring the inventory level is kept at the most cost-efficient level by implementing and monitoring the purchase strategy.
Requirements
• POSITION: Merchandising Manager for Bakery Department
• SALARY: up to 17,000 AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications
• HIRING COMPANY: Leading Supermarket Group
• LOCATION: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time/Permanent
• CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to ANY, preferably Arabic-speaker
• Male/Female, 30-45 years old and below
• Open to home country experience
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Merchandising, Business, Economics or equivalent
• At least 3-5 years of experience in retail sales in purchasing or merchandising with bakery background (baker by trade)
• Extensive experience of leading operations with recipe development and commercial awareness
• Strong knowledge of local laws, regulations and rules
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices is an advantage
• Very good negotiation, and analytical skills of financial date
