In house role focusing on the structuring of funds, small and exciting company with an impressive CEO at the helm

Client Details

This is an asset management company in Dubai who are going through a period of sustained and impressive growth. They are seeking to hire their first lawyer as a cost cutting measure, and are offering a long term track for progression

Description

* Involved in the structuring of funds - prospectuses, memorandums, launching SPVs, etc
* Act as primary contact to liaise with regulators
* Manage budgets for external counsel
* Generalist corporate/commercial responsibilities
* Work closely with the compliance team

Requirements

* This hire should be a specialist funds lawyer who is familiar with the documentation surrounding the structuring and launch of funds.
* It should also be someone who is accustomed to dealing with regulators and knows how to liaise with them.
* Ideally, this candidate will also have some experience of compliance issues.
* In the absence of Funds specialist expertise, we are happy to consider a corporate lawyer who has been involved in structuring at least one fund.
