Additional school requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education or higher OR a PGCE with a bachelor's degree in English Language Arts or a related field.
• Teaching license from home country/province.
• Experienced in delivering the curriculum from Alberta, Canada.
• Must have completed a supervised practicum while earning education qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a Canadian curriculum private school or international school setting.
• Strong knowledge and experience in student-centered learning, standards-based grading, and reporting principles.
• Developing critical thinking skills in students and fostering an inquiry-based learning environment.
• Proficient in the use of technology in the classroom.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about teaching and committed to providing high-quality education to students.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Experience in working with English Language Learners is preferable.
