Employment: Full Time

Transaction Processing
- To retrieve applicable transaction files and mandates from card schemes portal and process transactions in in-house systems to generate the output file for daily debit card transaction posting, upload outgoing files to card schemes for realisation, transfer data to external processor via secured methodology
- Provide relevant data to card operations to support various day to day process, resolving front end channels queries within the agreed time frame to meet internal and external customer requirements with no financial loss to bank
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all customer financial and non-financial data under secure storage from any misuse.

Statistics and MIS reporting
- Obtain accurate data from internal and external sources, analyse, prepare and submit statistics on the debit and credit card portfolio for both issuing and acquiring activities and various adhoc reports to business team based on their requirements
- Support card operations with relevant data for various monthly/quarterly reports to card schemes and regulator

Vendor Management
- Manage vendors for secured transfer of card statement files, evaluate the sample statements to ensure the correctness of customer statements, monitor printing and dispatch of statements within agreed turnaround time (TAT)
- Identify issues related to cards daily processes, investigate and escalate to appropriate parties for resolution/information to implement necessary controls to mitigate the risk for the customer as well as the bank

Management Support and Query Resolution
- To manage the team in the absence of line manager and be accountable for all functions as per the guidelines and resolve all queries from front end channels and internal departments relating to credit card within the agreed timeframes and to the required standards

Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures
- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, and ensure employee adherence so that work is carried out to the required standard while delivering the required standards of service to customers and stakeholders

Self-Management
- Manage self in line with the bank’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance

Customer Service
- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

Continuous Improvement
- Manage and motivate the team to ensure they contribute to, and participate in, the identification and implementation of change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the bank’s standards

Requirements

- MS Office applications proficiency
- Banking applications
- Sound analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- At least 4 years of work experience with 2 years in card operations and data analysis
- Preferably MBA or CA or IIT
