Mold Builder

Job description / Role

We are looking for an experienced Mold Builder / Pattern Maker to join our manufacturing facility in Dubai.

The role focuses on the fabrication, assembly, modification, and maintenance of molds used for precast shape casting. The candidate must have hands-on experience in building molds using wood, polystyrene, and GRP materials, with strong attention to dimensional accuracy and finishing quality.

The candidate will be responsible for producing molds based on technical drawings, assembling mold components, carrying out inspections, and supporting production operations when required.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and assemble molds for precast casting using wood, polystyrene, and GRP
• Interpret technical drawings and convert them into practical mold fabrication work
• Carry out precise cutting, shaping, fitting, and finishing based on required dimensions and tolerances
• Perform mold modifications, repairs, and improvements when needed
• Inspect completed mold work to ensure dimensional and quality compliance
• Support precast production operations when required
• Follow company ISO procedures, forms, and quality requirements
• Contribute to continuous improvement in mold building and workshop practices

• Proven hands-on experience in mold building / pattern making
• Experience working with wood, polystyrene, and GRP mold fabrication
• Strong ability to use workshop tools, measuring tools, and fabrication equipment
• Good understanding of measurements, tolerances, and precision workmanship
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Quality-focused with inspection mindset
• Familiar with ISO systems, procedures, and documentation
• Team player with practical problem-solving skills
• Currently available in Dubai
