Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct on-site and workshop inspections of damaged vehicles to assess the nature, cause, and extent of damage.
• Review accident reports, photographs, repair estimates, and supporting documents submitted by workshops or insured parties.
• Verify coverage, policy conditions, and claim authenticity to detect potential fraud or non-claimable damages.
• Prepare detailed survey reports including technical findings, estimated repair costs, depreciation, and recommended liability.
• Negotiate repair costs and settlements with garages, agencies, and clients to ensure cost control and fairness.
• Liaise with insurance assessors, garages, spare parts suppliers, and internal claims staff for effective claim handling.
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, insurance laws, and regulatory standards.
• Follow up on pending repairs, re-inspections, and final settlement approvals.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, photos, and communication for each assigned claim.
• Provide technical advice to claims handlers and underwriters regarding vehicle valuation and repairability.
Requirements:
Desired Candidate Profile
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in motor claims surveying or automotive repair assessment.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle structures, repair methods, and paint systems.
• Familiarity with insurance claim procedures, estimation, etc.
• Valid UAE Driving License (for field roles).
• Excellent technical and analytical skills.
• Strong report writing and documentation ability.
• Effective negotiation and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and time management.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Salary:
AED
5,000 to 7,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
