Motorsports Mechanic

Job description / Role

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Motorsports Mechanics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in automotive mechanics, with a strong background in engine assembly and hands-on experience working with racing cars. In this role, you will also provide technical support for drift events, ensuring cars perform at their peak under challenging conditions. Excellent communication skills, a keen interest in continuous learning, and a team-oriented attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble, disassemble, and rebuild high-performance engines for racing and drift applications.
• Perform regular maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on racing and drift cars.
• Provide mechanical support during drift events, including quick repairs and adjustments.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and drivers to optimize vehicle performance.
• Maintain detailed service records and documentation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues under high-pressure race and event conditions.
• Follow safety protocols and industry best practices at all times.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies and methods in motorsports engineering.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic (motorsports and drift experience preferred).
• Proven expertise in engine assembly and diagnostics.
• Prior experience working on racing and drift vehicles is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, especially during race and drift events.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
• Relevant technical certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience supporting drift events or working with drift-specific vehicle setups.
• Knowledge of data logging systems and vehicle telemetry.
• Experience with suspension setup, tire management, and vehicle alignment for racing and drifting.
• Familiarity with motorsports regulations and safety standards.

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
