This really is the role for the adventurous and highly committed individual. No day will be the same and you will need to be prepared for every eventuality, ranging from last minute changes in schedules to on-the-spot event glitches, to high-spec presentations within minutes, to problems with the private jet! The position requires the ability and flexibility to work outside traditional office hours.
This role supports a C-Suite executive at the top of his career. He is a dedicated and highly energetic gentleman, whose life runs at 100 miles an hour, with little sleep and as his assistant you need to be always one step ahead of him. As the gatekeeper to his office, you will interact closely with other team members and strategic partners on key CEO related tasks and projects. You will support him on the move, managing all travel arrangements, by working with commercial and private aircraft partners globally and have an awareness of international operations. You will attend meetings and events on his behalf and proactively manage his time using your expert judgement.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate experience in performing critical support roles, across a wide scope. A strong commitment to delivering excellence, demonstrating good judgement, and understanding the importance of anticipating and proactively supporting the CEO’s needs is required. Our client is specifically seeking candidates who have had experience in supporting a CEO who has managed various entities across an international remit. Candidates will possess English as a first language (a second language will be highly advantageous) and a Bachelor’s degree is essential.
A sense of humour and the willingness to do ‘whatever it takes’ is vital.
Ask yourself the question. Can you rearrange a business trip and write an award acceptance speech with three hours’ notice, whilst finishing the Board packs for next week’s Board meeting, oh and by the way. it’s 6pm on Thursday night!
