Multi-Skilled Technician

Job description / Role

We are seeking a versatile and skilled technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in multiple trades, including Electrical , fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, and painting. You will play a key role in assembling and maintaining a range of motorhomes and caravans, ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

- Electrical : Install and maintain electrical systems for caravans and motorhomes, including lights, outlets, and appliances.
- Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble metal, wood, and composite materials to create structural components and systems.
- Carpentry: Build, install, and finish interior fittings, cabinetry, and custom furniture to exact specifications.
- Plumbing: Install and maintain water systems, including pipes, faucets, and wastewater systems.
- Painting: Apply high-quality finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring smooth and durable coatings.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and regulations.

- Proven experience in wiring, fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, and painting, preferably within the caravan or motorhome manufacturing industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with hand and power tools, as well as various machinery used in caravan and motorhome production.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work on a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Previous experience working in the caravan, motorhome, or RV manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within the manufacturing environment.
- A relevant trade qualification or certification (e.g., electrical, plumbing, carpentry).
