National Sales Manager (Retail/Key Accounts)

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Must have handled accounts like Carrefour, Spinneys
• Must have atleast 10+ years in Retail channel (specifically food & beverages)
• Spearhead & execute the country specific sales report, distribution targets, MTD performance and analyze and recommend action plans.
• Set up annual targets and develop a detailed operational plan: volume, value, P&L follow-up and reporting.
• Review and agree those targets for the channel.
• Must be involved in making BDAs & negotiations with the accounts
• Seek agreement based on strategic business objective with B2B Commercial Manager / Sales Manager.
• Develop periodic and responsive reviews with them.
• Set annual plan with high level targets of get, keep, and increase.
• Target business growth within the sector with potential new business opportunities.
• Optimize Brand Equity and visibility, brand exposure and product trials
• Define & optimize annual budgets and invest accountable for tracking and maintaining spending.
• Identify right contact persons (Buyers, Sales, Marketing) and involve them in the development and implementation of the plans.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of FMCG business model and making commercial propositions.
• Develop JBP’s with Key Accounts, delivering joint value.
• Behave like a leader; coach and develop the team and demonstrate leadership qualities
• Build strong relationship with existing and new accounts as well as strong performance mindset, nurture positive and efficient long-term relationship at all levels to ensure the consistent application of the strategy
• Effectively manages customer base, customer administration and work on customer satisfaction and receivables.
• 100% customer satisfaction is always expected and encouraging the direct reports to be proactive on this point.
• Excellent planning, sales track record, management & presentation skills.
