Job description / Role
Kalimat Group is looking for a talented and creative Native App Developer to lead mobile engineering efforts to develop and maintain high quality mobile applications.
• As a Mobile developer, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop functional mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment.
• You will be responsible for building, maintaining and testing Mobile SDKs in both native Android and iOS as well as Unity with the help of a small team.
• You should have a broad knowledge and 7+ years’ experience of systems and technologies to build innovative, high quality, customer-facing mobile solutions in an agile environment.
Requirements
Required Skills:
• BSc degree in Computer Science.
• 7+ years of native iOS/Android development experience: Develop, test and maintain native SDK on iOS/ Android mobile platforms.
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store and Google Store..
• Demonstrable portfolio of educational apps.
• Excellent analytical skills with a good problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent communication and team work skills.
• Best practices for mobile UI and UX.
• Understand responsive design, design patterns, APIs and MPIs.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance coding the app.
• Deploy App to production environment.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Highly skilled in coding languages of Objective-C and Swift, Java.
• Hands-on frontend development experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on Animation experience.
• Hand- on Game development (Unity).
• Excellent experience in Cloud providers (AWS, GCP, and AZURE).
• Server-side scripting experience.
• Partner with UX designers, product managers, animators, and back-end engineers.
• Must be able to demonstrate a level of application architecture and design using patterns such as MVVM, MVP, and MVC.
• Passionate about writing clean, bug- free, well-organized, well-documented and production-ready code.
• Deliver features and functionalities on time and to specifications, meeting the product requirements.
• Familiarity with agile development process.
• Excellent testing skills and software bug fixing.
• Launch feature, iterate and enhance based on stakeholder feedback.
• Engage in regular code reviews with colleagues to review, analyze, improve and teach coding skills.
• Efficiently collaborate with an in-house team of X developers.
• Adapt to current iOS/ Android updates and latest technology trends.
