Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Is a subject matter expert in its field
• Leads projects and project teams (Project/Program Management/Integrated Support Planned and UnPlanned Maintenance)
• To have a thorough Understanding Operational Requirements in support of Military vessels;
• To provide Integrated Logistics Support and Planning
• To Maintain the necessary contacts with international customer, partners and subcontractors
• Responsible for the result (CM2), deadlines and for the cost-effective technical and commercial handling of demanding and complex projects
• Is able to perform Earned Value Management (EVM) Analysis
• Assists in developing criteria for evaluating programs, proposals and other pertinent information related to projects. (Standards & Service Packages)
• Provide recommendations to revise specific diesel maintenance plans based on a review of “as found” and “as released” condition reports and feedback from port engineers and operators and to include planned flexible hose and rubber bellows replacements. Make additional adjustments to standard system maintenance to adjust periodicities of standard maintenance actions.
• Responsible for improvement of results through active claim management/Change orders
• Develops independently strategies and tactics for claims and negotiates them independently
• Creates measure to ensure the success of the projects
• Independent contact for customer
• Makes statements concerning the results of their projects

Requirements

• 10 years’ relevant experience Naval ship repair & processes
• Bachelor’s Degree with an emphasis in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Has minimum 2 years of Project Management Experience on Military Vessels.
• Has a minimum of 5 years professional experience in the depot level ship repair and modernization industry.
• Fully versed in NAVSEA/Military Standard Items and Navy equipment technical manuals.
• Must be able to obtain access to military installations. (Pass a Security Check)
• Must be able to identify the critical path and manage the subordinate activities to achieve on-time project completion
