Location: UAE with mission to Iraq

Professional Experience
- Minimum 15 years in oil and gas projects.
- Previous experience of managing contractor's AUT qualifications for onshore pipelines.
Experience in Similar Position
- 10 years of experience, with significant experience in AUT and NDE applied to pipeline installation projects.
- Experience in leading AUT qualification/validation activity.
- Demonstrated experience as an NDT engineer, not just as an inspector, with the ability to collaborate effectively with design and welding teams.
- Prior experience in the oil and gas sector, particularly with DNV codes.
- A background that aligns with the type of projects and responsibilities handled by the company.
- Capability to perform technical clarifications, supplier or mill audits, and challenge contractors and suppliers on technical grounds.
- Ability to lead technical meetings with contractors and vendors and make decisions in accordance with company specifications.
- Proficiency in advanced NDT methodologies such as DRT/AUT, including the ability to calculate probability of detection (POD) and sizing accuracy as per relevant standards.
- Competence in reinterpreting NDT results, such as AUT scans and RT/DRT films, and in evaluating the performance of NDT operators.
Technical Skills
- Knowledge of design and construction code for pipeline (DNVGL-ST-F101, API 1104), pressure vessels (ASME BPVC).
- ISO 9712 (or recognized equivalent) Level III AUT (PAUT/TOFD) and minimum LII RT.
- ISO 9712 (or equivalent) minimum LII PT, LII MPI, Radiographic Interpretation, Senior Inspector.
Level / Diploma
Bachelor's degree in engineering (material, mechanical engineering or related field).
Languages
Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
