Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
To lead, manage, and perform advanced Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities in accordance with applicable standards and project specifications. Acts as the technical authority on all NDT methods and ensures compliance with client and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the company’s NDT Level III in accordance with ASNT/PCN/ISO 9712 or equivalent certification standards.
• Develop, review, and approve NDT procedures and techniques for all applicable methods (e.g., RT, UT, MT, PT, VT, ET, etc.).
• Provide technical support to Level I and Level II NDT personnel; conduct training and qualification evaluations.
• Ensure proper interpretation of NDT results and issue approvals/reports accordingly.
• Liaise with third-party inspectors, clients, and auditors on all NDT-related matters.
• Maintain and ensure calibration of NDT equipment and consumables traceability.
• Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for audits, including reports, calibration certificates, and qualifications.
• Participate in root cause analysis and failure investigations involving NDT.
• Ensure safety compliance in all NDT operations on-site and off-site.
• Support QA/QC department in the implementation of quality management system (QMS) requirements related to inspection.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical Engineering or related discipline.
• ASNT / PCN / ISO 9712 Level III certification in at least two major methods (e.g., RT, UT).
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in NDT with at least 3 years as Level III in the oil & gas / EPC / fabrication sectors.
• Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, ASTM, etc.).
• Experience in developing NDT procedures and managing multi-disciplinary NDT teams.
• Familiarity with digitized or automated NDT systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.

Candidates are required to have a certificate:
1) ASNT/PCN/CSWIP NDT Level III – Certification (UT, RT, MT, PT, VT)
2) ASNT/PCN/CSWIP NDT Level III- Certification (AUT Level II, PAUT, ToFD),
