.Net Web Developer

Job description / Role

My client, a global leader in mapping solutions, a multi billion dollar turnover leader in their industry is looking for a .Net Developer with GIS Development experience for a 3 year contract to be based in Abu Dhabi.

As a Senior Software Developer (.NET), you will be responsible for developing and deploying both front-end and back-end of software products/solutions; applying enhancements and fixing bugs using Microsoft and standard Web technologies; leading junior developers; and participating in detailed design phase and technical documentation.
You will be Implementing functional enhancements and application specifications to ensure a satisfactory level of both functional and nonfunctional requirements, such as performance, security, scalability, and usability.
Applying application enhancements and bug fixing in current customer’s applications.
Conducting and supervising unit-testing tasks and fixing defects that may arise.
Developing technical documentation.

Requirements

You will have at least 3-5 years of total software development experience.

A bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a relevant discipline.
Good verbal and written communication/presentation skills in both English and Arabic.
Good leadership skills.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
High commitment and dedication.
Excellent ability to handle work pressure efficiently.
Excellent ability to prioritize and manage work effectively to meet critical timelines in a fast-paced environment.
Arabic language is highly desirable.

In terms of technical experience you will be proficient in C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, Entity framework, Identity and Security frameworks.

Experienced in front-end technologies like HTML5 and JavaScript frameworks plus RIA platforms like Silverlight
Experience in Writing Service Oriented Applications like Asp.net Web APIs, Restful interfaces and the traditional WCF services.

You should have basic Knowledge in the below
WPF, and XAML.
REST and SOAP Web Services.
Complex server-side algorithms and modules coding.

In return you will receive a 3 year contract, full visa, medical insurance and a monthly salary.
