Following the acquisition of Big Machines, leading vendor of Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) eCommerce software and continued growth in CPQ sales over the last 30 months. Oracle’s CPQ software solution streamlines and manages the entire quote-to-cash process—from inquiry to order fulfillment. Shaped by our customers, our award-winning CPQ software leads the industry in innovation and adoption.

We are seeking a new member to the team to help us win new conquest business and work with existing customers.

• This is a national role, focusing purely on CPQ, working with our largest customers and prospects across several industry sectors. To be successful, you will be:

Requirements

Here’s the experience you’ll bring:

• Desire to prospect using your network, social media and telephone to win new conquest business for Oracle
• New business mentality, proven track record of winning new business from scratch
• Understanding of the Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) or eCommerce software landscape - www.oracle.com/cpq
• Ability to communicate value to sales, operations, finance and IT stakeholders
• Proven influencing skills at all levels, both internally & externally
• Problem solver, lateral thinker, consultative approach to sales and the sales process and diligent detail analyst
• Strategic thinker around creating and progressing pipeline through new and existing customers
• Knowledge of working with and selecting Partners capable of driving CPQ sales
• Sophisticated communicator and public speaker
• Large and complex software vendor, integrator or similar company experience

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years field sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience. Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills. Successful sales track record. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player. Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with stakeholders within accounts. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Presentation skills. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
