Job Purpose

The Network engineer will be responsible to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot computer network infrastructure. This includes ensuring the availability, performance, and security of the network and its components. Also be responsible for managing network updates, upgrades, and changes, as well as providing technical support and guidance to other team members.

We are seeking a Network Engineer with intermediate experience in CISCO and Fortinet networking devices. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of network architecture, design, and troubleshooting, as well as basic knowledge of CISCO call manager and PCCE contact center setup.

Job Responsibilities

- Design, implement, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including LANs, WANs, and wireless networks
- Configure and maintain networking devices such as routers, switches, and firewall appliances
- Monitor network performance and identify potential issues
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers
- Perform software and firmware updates on networking devices as needed
- Maintain documentation of network infrastructure and configurations
- Work closely with other members of the IT team to ensure seamless network operation

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology or related field

Preferred Experience

- 8+ years supporting network and data center infrastructure
- Intermediate experience with CISCO and Fortinet networking devices
- Basic knowledge of CISCO call manager and PCCE contact center setup
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, IPv4, and IPv6
- Ability to troubleshoot network issues and identify solutions
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job-Specific Skills

- Certifications: CCNA or other industry-recognized certification is a plus.
