Who we are looking for: New Brands Buyer - Faces (Beauty)

You are responsible for participating in the selection and management of new brands. You will also be incharge of managing the collection and consolidation of both quantitative and qualitative information regarding sales, bestselling items, stock coverage and others.

You will support with brand relationships at a principle level, locally or internationally, supporting negotiations with a key focus on the implementation of brand activities in the local market.

You will work closely with other buyers and the marketing team, continuously looking for new and innovative brands, products or services to maintain a varied range to meet evolving customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Organizational:

- Follow all relevant policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
- Support brand relationships and analysis.
- Responsible for maintaining support strategy for local markets to support sales and bring footfall.
- Implement activities under close supervision
- Escalate complex problems to the relevant person to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in timely a manner
- Consider pre-buying analysis, budgets, trends, culture and gaps prior to selecting brands to bring in.
- Work together with Business Intelligence to monitor the sell through rate for new brands
- Act & liaise with Supply chain if exit strategy is required
- Build a sound understanding of the product/trend lifecycle

Marketing Activities Implementation:

- Define visibility elements
- Arrange in coordination with marketing team to adapt key visuals for in-store exposure
- Send to local trade marketing the visuals to be used and detailed plan of animation
- Coordinate with Visual Merchandising to ensure the merchandising elements are place on time
- Define offer (GWP Qualifier) for each market and communicate to local trade marketing
- Create and implement the retro planning for each marketing activity and coordinate with all divisions for tasks
- Ensure all elements are implemented on time and in accordance to the guidelines
- Ensure that gross margins and sell-out targets developed during budget are accurate, achievable, challenging and meet management's requests

Reporting:

- Monitor customer feedback and report on achievements of targets related to Marketing Activities and Mall Podium bookings
- Analyze profitability of the store/brands & monitor market share
- Analyze competition, best practices in local market and report to Retail Marketing Manager / Brand Manager

Brand Animation:

- Implement in-store marketing animation plan/guidelines from Retail Marketing Manager/Brand Manager
- Coordinate regionally with brands to finalize the regional launch/animation plan
- Communicate the plan of animation to local trade marketing

Orders Management and GWPs:

- Communicate to local trade pricing for each material and GWPs
- Collect and consolidate order from all markets
- Liaise with supplier to place order
- Follow-up delivery in each market
- Participate in relevant projects and community activities as and when needed

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in this role:

- University Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing or any relevant field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the same field or a similar field
