NOC Approval Manager (Buildings/Infrastructure) Arabic speaking - Dubai, UAE
CH2M are hiring and are looking for an Arabic speaking NOC Manager with experience in dealing with Dubai’s statutory approvals on complex infrastructure projects. CH2M have partnered up to form a joint venture that is leading all real estate and construction delivery related Programme management services for a major exhibition.
The NOC Manager will be the subject matter expert as an interface manager between all different delivery projects and the statutory government bodies to guide, advice, own and lead the NOC schedule milestones.
You will be tasked to:
• Manage, report, monitor and lead the infrastructure tracker
• Lead resolution of utility corridor conflicts, and utility relocation tasks
• Support Infrastructure Management
• Support Logistics Management
• Support master plan infrastructure elements’ integration
• Work as an Assistant PM role on all infrastructure consultants/contractors
• Apply excellence criteria on submissions made to Authorities and ensure compliance by consultants/contractors
Requirements
As a successful candidate you must be degree qualified in a Civil Engineer discipline or equivalent, be Arabic speaking and possess at least 8 years’ experience in dealing with Dubai’s statutory approvals; requirements, submissions and interface conflicts. You will have experience in working within a complex infrastructure interface environment, involving key authorities, and a congested service corridor environment.
You will possess a sound understanding of scheduling standards, and build-up for infrastructure activities, milestones and approval stage gates. Multi-tasking, ability to work with several project managers on infrastructure projects, consultant and contractor.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
Discipline specific professional registration is preferred i.e. PMP, PMI, ICE, RICS.
