NOC Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient NOC Engineer to join our dynamic team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

- Review Drawings: Check project plans to ensure they meet the standards of local authorities (like Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence).
- Submit Drawings: Submit these plans to the relevant authorities and communicate with their engineers to get the necessary approvals.
- Manage Projects: Oversee several fit-out projects at once, ensuring they follow approved plans, budgets, and schedules.
- Prepare NOC Schedules: Create timelines for obtaining necessary No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and building permits.
- Develop Project Plans: Outline detailed plans to monitor progress on approvals from different authorities.
- Collect Documentation: Gather all documents needed for authority approvals, ensuring nothing is missing.
- Understand Permit Procedures: Be knowledgeable about the entire process for obtaining New Building Permits and ensuring the project gets a Completion Certificate.
- Maintain Documentation: Keep comprehensive records of all project-related documents for easy reference.
- Approval Services: Handle all aspects of obtaining approvals, including submitting drawings, space planning, documentation, and inspections, ensuring all engineering requirements are met.
- Follow SOPs: Be familiar with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and checklists for new and completed projects to ensure compliance

As a NOC Engineer in the UAE, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and ensuring that our projects run smoothly and efficiently.

- Proven experience as a NOC Engineer or in a similar technical role within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with Dubai Municipality local building codes.
- Familiarity with Civil Defence department safety and emergency regulations.
- Understanding of environmental health and safety regulations of Tarakhees CED EHS.
- Compliance with business and regulations of free zones (Dubai Siliconn Oasisi Authority).
- Adherence to to standards of tech and media zones (TECOM DDA).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements of Concordia projects.
- Knowledge of regulatory of electricity and water service approvals (DEWA).
- Compliance with security regulations of SIRA.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
