Employment: Full Time

A key function of the Project Management function is the development and execution of nuclear plant modifications. These modifications are the result of design changes that emerge and/or are implemented after substantial Completion of the Plant. These can be the result of regulatory changes, nuclear operating experience, technological improvements, equipment failures, safety considerations or similar.In the pre-Substantial completion timeframe, Project Management is organized to identify, prioritize, plan and schedule upcoming modifications that may commence as early as the first refueling outage. Early sources of such modifications include reference plant changes, commissioning experience, punch-list items and warranty work.

The Project Manager's principal role is to identify, organize and manage emerging nuclear modification projects within Nawah, either within Cl or in collaboration with others (primarily CPO). This requires expertise in classical project management skills sets (scope, cost, schedule, quality, safety) and substantial experience in nuclear plant environments to appreciate the relevant hazards and regulatory requirements applied to address them.The PM must be exponents and leaders of the Nawah Project management methodology and will therefore be a mentor as well as deliver projects to scope, cost,schedule and quality. The successful candidate must therefore possess, in addition to technical acumen, strong leadership and communication skills and abundant initiative, motivation, adaptability, comfort with uncertainty and cultural sensitivity.

Project Management:
- Lead project teams to deliver project scope and outcomes.
- Assist the Manager of Projects in developing the Project Management program, processes and procedures Work with the other functions in the Construction Interface department to ensure that integrated schedules,

Reporting:
- Be an exemplar of Project management methodologies and Program Controls and Program Management Office

Methodologies:
- Enable successful delivery of Nawah's plant modifications and projects
- Shepherd projects through the project phases and Staged Gate reviews and approvals

Budget:
- Ensure accurate estimating and risk analysis of project budgets
- Manage performance against budget to minimize variance

People Management:
- Manage a project team to deliver projects safely, on-time and on-budget
- Develop capabilities of UAE direct reports in support of Nawah Emiratization strategy and other corporate objectives

Stakeholder Engagement:
- Practice open and effective communication internally and externally in order to build and nurture effective working

Relationships:
- Identify project stakeholders and manage their needs

HSE:
- Comply with all relevant health, safety and environmental management policies

Time Management:
- Support development of project schedules and manage performance against schedule to minimize variance
- Ensure execution of plant projects is successfully integrated with plant maintenance and outage schedules

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration ,Engineering, Engineering management,Operations Management or equivalent nuclear plant site-based experience.
- MBA, MSM or other relevant advanced degree.
- Project Management Accreditation (PMI, APM, MSP, etc).
- 9 - 10 years nuclear experience ,5 years managing and/or supervising plant projects/modifications with evidence of fulfilling support, control and assurance roles as a Project Management function.
- 15 years nuclear experience,Experience in all phases of plant modifications/ projects (project initiation, conceptual and detail design, analysis, procurement, construction/installation, testing ,configuration management, hand- over, close-out)
- Experience with planning complex plant maintenance/project work.
