Taylor Sterling is searching for an experienced Nursery Manager with experience in Landscaping. Our client specialises in hospitality, residential and commercial projects and is responsible for surrounding iconic views across the UAE.
- Manage the nursery, sale to trade and retail customers
- Identify plants and problems such as diseases, weeds, and insect pests
- Assign work schedules and duties to nursery or greenhouse staff, and supervise their work
- Select and purchase seeds, plant nutrients, disease control chemicals, and garden and lawn care equipment
- Explain and enforce safety regulations and policy
- Improve annual turnover and ensure targets are met
Requirements
- 5-10 years experience
- Strong knowledge of irrigation practices for plant plug production
- Relevant Degree
- Target driven with proven sales record
- knowledge of insect and disease in plants and the control strategies
- Experience of managing a team and Nurseries
