Nursery Teacher - Russian Speaker

Job description / Role

Key Responsibilities:

Childcare & Curriculum Delivery

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or local curriculum requirements.
• Observe, assess, and record each child’s progress and development.
• Encourage children’s learning through play and structured activities.
• Support children in developing their independence and social skills.

Health, Safety, and Wellbeing

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the classroom and play areas.
• Follow safeguarding, health, and safety policies and procedures.

Behaviour Management

• Promote positive behaviour, manage conflicts calmly, and model respectful behaviour.
• Support children in understanding rules and routines.

Communication & Partnerships

• Build positive relationships with parents, keeping them informed about their child’s day and development.
• Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues when required.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

General Duties

• Prepare resources and materials for daily activities.
• Maintain records and reports accurately and timely.
• Assist with feeding, toileting, and personal care as needed.

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Sound knowledge of child development and early learning frameworks.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and passion for working with young children.
• First Aid and Child Protection certifications (preferred).

Salary:
AED 8,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
