Job description / Role
Purpose
The Office 365 security specialist applies significant professional experience and training in information technology in the analysis, design, modification, and maintenance of the Office 365 integrated systems, Azure, and/or software solutions. Special focus on privacy, monitoring and security features of O365 and Azure.
Main Responsibilities:
• Azure Active Directory deployment and administration
• Design, implement and utilize advanced functions of Office 365, including security, governance, and compliance (eg. DLP, IRM, MDM, AIP, E-Discovery, In-Place Hold, Retention Tags, intune)
• Track, analyze, and contain spam and malware emails
• Analyze user system and application needs, determine and evaluate potential solutions, develop system specifications and requirements, and design application programs to meet the requirements
• Research, analyze and evaluate current technical cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies and standards, new software functionality, and alternative software solutions to determine applicability and viability at USF
• Implement security and privacy features available on O365, such as data classification, DLP, AIP
• configure & monitor different attributes and handling scale up and scale down scenarios for the application in Azure
• Implement enterprise application using platform services like azure websites, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, notification hubs, event hubs, stream analytics, Document Db, application insights etc
• Work in DevOps environment with continuous integration and continuous deployment and application lifecycle management
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Maintain relationship with third party service providers
• Technically aware of all technologies
• Current & future technology plans

Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in information technology or related field
• 7 years’ experience in related position
• Microsoft Office365 Management, administrative, and maintenance
• Microsoft Office 365 Configuration
• CISSP is preferred but not required
• Relevant Microsoft certifications are preferred (Such as MCSA or MCSE)
