Job description / Role
A representative office based within the DMCC Free zone are seeking an experienced Coordinator with DMCC exposure for the SME team, based within the trading sector. Reporting into the Office Manager, this organisation is part of a wider group with a Head Office in the USA. Therefore, the working hours in Dubai are also Monday to Friday to fully accommodate the needs of the business. There is a flexible work ethic, as on occasion the Office Coordinator may need to facilitate evening calls with Head Office on an ad hoc basis.
The role will play an integral part of the business operations as the successful candidate will be responsible for all company DMCC compliance including; trade license renewals, management of corporate documents, visa applications, direct liaison with the DMCC and its portal and ensuring relevant request from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassies and Consulates are handled in a professional manner. Additionally, you will support the British Senior Management Team with new client document collation, uploads onto the CRM, editing of PowerPoint presentations, updating communication lists and assisting in the taking of notes in meetings. Due to the SME nature of the company this is very much an all-encompassing administrative role and will also include sending out marketing collateral and newsletters to clients and prospective customers via MailChimp.
This role requires a self-motivated individual, with clear demonstratable DMCC exposure and some UAE labor law knowledge. The ability to work normal daytime office hours, but within a working week of Monday- Friday (with Saturday and Sunday as days off) is essential for this position. You will be degree educated and accustomed to working in a fast passed environment and being exceptionally hands on in all areas. Those with strong MS Office skills, including excel and PowerPoint are vital, with Prezi (interactive presentation software), Mailchimp and Adobe creative suite experience ba distinct advantage.
