Job description / Role
Charterhouse are currently working with leading International Law Firm who is looking to hire a Receptionist / Office Assistant to join their offices in Dubai.
The main duties of the Office Receptionist will be, but are not limited to, welcoming visitors into the business with a warm, friendly and professional manner, making outbound and answering incoming calls, communicating messages within a timely manner. This role will handle all generic emails and ensure to delegate these to the correct point of contact. The Receptionist must ensure the reception is well-presented, tidy and organised at all times.
In addition, the Office Assistant will be responsible for managing diaries, booking and supervising meeting rooms, scheduling transport for staff and clients, maintaining office supplies and overseeing petty cash and expenses. This role will track and ensure all calendars, procedures and accounts are up to date and efficiently monitored. Occasionally, the role will also support the office manager and wider team with legal and administrative tasks.
Our client is looking for professional candidates as the Receptionist will be the front of the business, and therefore must have a courteous demeanour with excellent customer service skills, as well as maintaining confidentiality whilst handling sensitive information.
Requirements:
The ideal applicant for this role should have some experience working within a Customer Service or Administrative position. It is crucial that the candidates are well-presented, professional and have exceptional customer service skills, excellent telephone manner and communication skills. The success candidate will be working within a fast-paced environment; therefore, they must be highly organised and excellent time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure.
