Job description / Role
Our client, a leading bank in Abu Dhabi is actively searching for an Officer, PR & Event Management to partner with the business.
• Assist in preparation of the yearly PR plan.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key industry editors and journals
• Enhance the Banks presence through Media Channels (Newspapers, magazines, TV, Radio & online).
• After receiving media requests (Interviews/articles) coordinate with the responsible parties to get the answers & required information.
• Help in drafting press releases, review and proof read other PR material
• Contribution in organizing Media events
• Coordinate with PR agencies (if applicable), meet with the agency and brief them on job/project requirements.
Events
• Contribute and assist in organizing all internal & external events.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate all aspects of event logistics: place selection, equipment and material, decoration, vendor coordination, catering, professional presenters, giveaways, certificates, trophies and attendees guidance.
• Follow up on the checklists and make sure to finalize the event’s requirements.
• Coordinate and assist the media during the event if required.
• Coordinate to ensure event is completed smoothly with the team during the event.
Sponsorships
• Help in evaluating sponsorship proposals and recommending the suitable proposal for the bank.
• Coordinate and confirm with the organizations & companies the bank’s participation.
• Follow-up on all sponsorship aspects are implemented as per agreement.
• Attendance with the team if required.
• Submit sponsorship evaluation reports.
Corporate Social Responsibility
• Ensure pre and post event evaluations are updated and filed for future reference.
• Coordinate and assist with all CSR activities (pre event preparations) and make sure al is set and finalized.
• Attending & participation during CSR activities for the banks employee and make sure to invite the employees and assist them during the event..
• Help in increase Staff Participation and involvement in CSR activities.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Must be a UAE National with a Family Book
• Open to a fresh graduate with a bachelor’s degree in PR or Media
• Must be finished or exempted from National Service
• Good communication skills
• Only open to male candidates
