Job description / Role
JOB PURPOSE
To process trade finance operation transactions using the trade related systems accurately within the required time frames and strictly in line with the laid down bank’s standards and requirements
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Transaction Administration
Process transactions in line with trade finance policy, standard operating procedures, and credit terms and conditions without any errors within agreed timeframes
Stakeholder Management
Liaise with relationship team to acquire necessary approvals required for transaction handling to ensure adherence with policies and procedures
Information and Record Keeping
Maintain records and information related to the transactions and reconciliation of accounts in line with the bank’s standards
Self Management
Manage self in line with the bank’s people management, policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximize own contribution to business performance
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Banking/Business/Accounting or equivalent
• Fresh graduates can be considered for some basic trade products to start with
• At least 3 years of experience in Trade Finance with knowledge of banking and accounting systems for core trade products
Professional Qualifications
Banking specialization from Institute of Financial Services like CDCS, URDG, CITF governed by ICC or equivalent is preferred
