On behalf of our client a Dubai based oil and gas operator we are looking to recruit an Electrical Technician. Reporting to the Electrical and Instrument Supervisor you will be responsible for planning and safely implementing preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial electrical systems across all onshore operation sites. Install and modify electrical equipment and diagnose faults using logical methods following approved practices
Requirements
The successful candidate must hold a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5 years post certificate maintenance experience in an operating oil or gas processing facility, be familiar with safe switching an isolating low, medium and high voltage systems, knowledge with both IEC and NEMA equipment design and with both ATEX and NEC hazardous area or zone classifications, practical experience at switching and troubleshooting air-break and vacuum motor controllers and switchgear operating at 400 volts, 3300 volts and gas insulated switches at 33,000 volts
