Job description / Role
On behalf of our client a Dubai based oil and gas operator we are looking to recruit a Offshore Operations Superintendent. Reporting to the OIM you will be responsible for the safe and effective operations of all production processes, utility systems, plant and equipment and associated pipelines to achieve and exceed agreed production targets ensuring compliance with Field Case for Safety company operating procedures, HSE policies and procedures and corporate governance, provide personnel management and development of the production team with a focus on identification and implementation of training and development ensuring that appropriate competence levels are maintained to support normal operations and emergency response requirements.
Requirements
The successful candidate must be degree educated in Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation/Production or Chemical Engineering, have a minimum of 15 years in an oil/gas production environment with 5 years supervisory/management experience with management of major emergencies or OPITO OIM certification, a thorough understanding of the operations safety case, statutory requirements and safe systems of work including PTW, isolation procedures and risk assessment polices and standards, sound knowledge of offshore operations including working knowledge of drilling, subsea and construction activities.
