A global FMCG brand that is dedicated to bringing fun, high energy and quality to their industry is seeking an On Trade Activation Manager. The brand is promoted through a range of innovative marketing strategies to hotels, restaurants, music and sporting events, which has lead to our client being the leading operator in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar. The On Trade Activation (OTA) Manager will report to the Head of Sales and be a strong communicator with the capability to build lasting relationships with clients and internal and external partners. Managing all on trade operations and responsible for a team of 3 On Trade Executives covering the Gulf region, you will maximize the company’s profitability via a strong strategy, plan and execution. The OTA Manager will ensure effective on premise channel development through an integrated approach, strong category management, excellent outlet execution and perfectionism in all you do. Managing a portfolio of several brands you will create and embed an annual channel strategy for profit growth based on your local, regional and industry knowledge.

You will be keen to develop your team and provide weekly meetings to prepare execution briefs, manage reporting systems and stakeholder feedback from the brands and associated events. A keen eye for detail you will also maintain all merchandising standards, brand guidelines and promotional kits per channel by coordinating with the merchandising and sales teams. Other key focus areas for this role will include contract management and renewal, sales pitches, client support and budget management. At times the role will also be highly analytical to manage the trade census and CRM maintenance to ensure no opportunity for growth is missed. You will be a strong business development all-rounder with strategic, analytical and relationship building capabilities.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess high energy levels and a collaborative and inclusive personality, who is able to communicate with people at all levels both internally and externally to ensure they are engaged and committed. This role is also extremely sociable as you will be attending events 4-5 nights per week, therefore those candidates who can easily accommodate this should apply. To apply you must also possess a degree in Marketing or Business Administration and have a minimum of 3 years within trade marketing and sales within an FMCG environment.
