Job description / Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operation Manager to oversee our operations in the Aluminium and Glass industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in operation management and a strong understanding of the Aluminium and Glass industry and processes; and will be responsible for ensuring that our processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with the highest standards of quality. This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and the ability to drive a team toward achieving organizational goals in a fast-paced environment. In this leadership role you will oversee multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while ensuring safety compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency and productivity across all processes.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning and adherence to schedules.
- Manage and optimize supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operations with company goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards within the workplace.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operational staff to enhance productivity and promote a positive work culture.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports related to operations.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth operations and high satisfaction rates.
- Targeting new business opportunities and new customers.
-Attend regular meetings with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
-Report to higher management and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Master degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in operations management within the Aluminium and Glass industry in GCC countries (a MUST).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and procurement strategies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyse data and financial reports for informed decision-making, and to drive operational improvements.
-Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Proficient in using operations management and engineering software's and MS Office Suite.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with different departments, and to be capable of liaising with various stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
- Strong PR is a plus.
- Fluent in English, Arabic is a plus.
