Charterhouse is working with an award-winning and growing organisation within the hospitality industry who is looking to hire an Office Coordinator / Junior Accountant for their Dubai Branch.

Reporting to and working closely with the MD’s, your responsibility will be to assist the Operations Manager overseeing daily operations across all departments, to ensure a smooth running of the business.

You will also be responsible for Office Administration including, taking inbound calls and managing correspondence, maintenance of the office, coordinating with and maintain clients, supplier and vendor relationships, handling the renewal of trade licence, scheduling meetings and arranging events for Executives.

This is a dual role, therefore, our client is seeking an individual who is also numerate with some experience working in Accountancy. The ideal applicant will be a Qualified Accountant working at a Junior Accountant level managing daily accounting and financial tasks. Your responsibilities will include, preparation of invoices, month-end closure for accounts payable, receivable and expenses, payroll calculation and maintaining supplier accounts. You will also assist in the preparation of budgets, expenses and evaluating future costs.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the candidate should have at least 3 years in an Administrator Position with accountancy experience, it is essential that you are AAT Qualified or similar. To be considered for this position, you must be a strong team player with a personable approach. You must demonstrate exceptional administrative skills, with attention to detail and be highly organised.

You must be keen to take on a challenging position and be able to handle diverse situations with confidence along with ability to multi-task under demanding deadlines. You should be a critical thinker, numerate, demonstrating proficiency in math with a strong understanding of account and financial reporting practices. The suitable candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
