The group we currently engaged with are a rapidly expanding western managed main contractor in the UAE. Their name is synonymous within Civil Engineering Contracting in the region having been established here for almost 30 years with an annual turnover of nearly one billion dirham. The business typically works on projects from anywhere between 50million AED and 250million AED and has nearly 5,000 employees including staff and labour. Within recent changes in the senior management the company are in a very strong position with exciting expansion ahead, with that said they are seeking an Operations Director to join them at their head office, this is a chance not to be missed

The role
The successful applicant will be reporting into the companies CEO and will be based out of the head office in Abu Dhabi with around 75% of time spent visiting sites. You will have P&L responsibility for the infrastructure division in the business which turns over around 500milllion AED and a strong focus will be on operational delivery. My client is looking for someone who is very proactive and capable of making business critical decisions.

Requirements

- Arabic speaker
- Must have a strong operational background in roadwork’s
- Must have previous experience controlling multiples sites
- Good knowledge of cost control
- Degree qualified
- Good knowledge of the UAE market
