Job description / Role
- Oversees operations of ongoing project(s) simultaneously
- Advises effective methodology of operations and gets involve from the inception of any new project starting from its tendering stage
- Ensures that projects are being completed competently, successfully as per the approved budget
- Coordinates & follows up with procurement, commercial and finance, cost control departments for timely availability of material, funds etc.
- Works closely with Project Managers to ensure the progress of work as per approved timeline
- Works closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the effective utilization and management of cashflow
- Creates and executes operations work plans and revises them as needed to meet changing needs and requirements
- Oversees scheduling, quality assurance, and safety on the job site and to ensure safety & compliance with all specifications
- Maintains all client & consultant relationships
- Manages day-to-day other operational aspects of projects as per the project scope
- Minimizes exposure and risks on projects
- Identifies needed resources and assignment to appropriate personnel effectively
Requirements
- Must be an engineering degree holder with minimum 15 years of experience as Senior Operations/Projects Manager for Oil & Gas construction companies in the UAE
- With good leadership skills
- With keen attention to details
- Well-experienced in managing a team of employees & successful track record
- Excellent communication skills
- Arabic speakers are preferred
