Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Providing full support to the global teams out in the field, this role requires an organised mind, a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple deadlines throughout the day. With the support of the team and reporting into the Digital and Field Liaison Manager, all of whom are based in the Dubai regional headquarters, this is a role that embraces all aspects of assistance to clients and employees including helpdesk management, handling of medical claims, streamlining procedures and ensuring contractual obligations and the health and safety of all employees are paramount.

Our client is a for profit humanitarian organisation, supporting communities with infrastructure and well-being projects across the globe and providing skilled rapid emergency response to countries in need. Therefore, you will be in daily contact with employees on the ground in countries such as Afghanistan, Syria, Nigeria, DRC and the South American region. The Operations Liaison Administrator will therefore ensure clients and employees are regularly updated according to the agreed project expectations, support the logistics of mobilization and demobilization, organise accommodation and local service providers, collate payroll and timesheet approvals and also support the recruitment teams with the collation of documents and induction training for new joiners. Attending regular weekly meetings with both the Dubai based teams and those out in the field to ensure transparent communication and action with any urgent matters, it is expected that you will strive for efficient and improved ways of working to foster an environment of continuous improvement and high-quality standards for all involved.

Requirements

Those with a second language are exceptionally advantageous for this role, as is a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR or a humanitarian field. A strong customer centric approach and excellent attention to detail, you will be highly motivated and experienced in supporting a large global team with all administration. Excellent communication and presentations skills and a natural flare for planning ahead, rapid response and action this role is fast paced and highly rewarding.
