Operations Manager

Job description / Role

Objectives:
- To oversee and supervise the plant operations.

Main responsibilities:

- Work with the Business Development Team to plan and execute new orders as per the plant capacity.
- Reviewing completed Batch manufacturing record for critical process steps and quality aspects of the process.
- Ensure availability of raw materials, packaging materials and safety appliances.
- Conduct Market Research and evaluate addition of new products to the line, working closely with the Marketing and R&D Team.
- Ensure all safety and regulatory requirements are followed during day to day operations.
- Work with Procurement Team to ensure availability of raw material as per the production requirements.
- Reporting to: Business Head
- Subordinates: Production Engineer, HSE Engineer
- Other interactions: Marketing, Procurement, Finance, HR
- Number required: 1
- Duration: Permanent
- Desired start date: To be decided
- Probation: 6 months

Requirements

- Specific Industry experience in Oil Field Chemicals/ Drilling Fluids
- Must have experience working in a Production Environment
- Chemical Engineering Background is Preferred.
- Should be able to work in diverse workforce environment
- Must be able to communicate effectively with subordinates and senior management
- Must be willing to work in a Production/Plant environment.
