Operations Manager

Job description / Role

We are looking for an experience Operations Manager of Car Rental, Export and Trading company that mainly deals with vehicles, including cars and trucks, as well as vehicle engines and other automotive products.

Key responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day operations including front counter activities, reservations, vehicle delivery/collection, and overall customer service.
• Coordinate with RTA on traffic files, vehicle plates/permits, and fines; handle disputes and incident cases with Dubai Police; manage SALIK accounts.
• Own full P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, pricing strategy (daily/weekly/monthly; seasonal/dynamic), cost control, and performance reporting.
• Oversee the full fleet lifecycle: vehicle procurement/lease, in-service availability, maintenance planning, damage assessments, and end-of-life disposal.
• Drive commercial growth through corporate accounts, partnerships with travel agencies/OTAs, and optimization of channel mix.
• Utilize operational systems effectively, with hands-on experience in UAE rent-a-car ERPs (e.g., CarPro, Speed Auto, Navotar)

Qualification
• 7–12 years of UAE rent-a-car experience with demonstrated multi-functional responsibility across operations and commercial.
• Strong hands-on experience with RTA and Dubai Police workflows, including fines management, incident handling, and collections.
• Consistent track record achieving >85% fleet utilisation, strong ADR, DSO below 30 days, and maintaining low loss ratios.
• Ability to build from the ground up: develop SOPs, create dashboards, set KPIs, and establish operational discipline from day one.
