Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

G4S UAE is currently looking for an experienced Operational Manager for our Cash Services Division. Reporting to the Managing Director of Cash Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling all aspect of Cash and Valuables In-Transit (CVIT) operations ensuring all runs efficiently and profitable.

Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following:
• Serve as entry level management of all expenses related to operations including staff expenses (overtime), vehicle expenses (fuels and repairs), infrastructure costs (repair and maintenance), stationery usage (security containers, printing, etc) and equipment (maintenance and usage)
• Ensure that customer satisfaction is given utmost priority and measures are implemented and adequately trained resources are deployed to maintain high service standards in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Directly manage operational staff through the use of supervisors. Set clear measurable objectives and measure performance regularly.
• Identify and implement working practices to improve efficiency and productivity of all operational staff.
• Develop and produce appropriate performance reports and analysis of trends
• Promote team work and collaboration within the different functional units by maintaining a harmonious relationship between the department managers and workforce.
• Create a positive and encouraging environment for all staff.
• Review existing capability and implement training and development plans for all staff.
• Ensure compliance with labors and local authorities
• Maintain an appropriate resource pool to ensure uninterrupted service delivery to customers.
• Managing operational risks and associated challenges including loss prevention strategies, closing all shortages within 48 hours of it being validated etc.
• Perform all checks in line with Quality, MSP and SOPs.
• Ensure full compliance ofall security procedures within the centre
• Ensure full procedural and Health and Safety compliance.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in an field from a reputable university
• Minimum of 10 years industry relevant experience, at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Knowledge and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
• Proficient in MS Office packages
• Effective English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Excellent Leadership qualities
• Conflict management
• Planning and Organizing Skills
