Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The operations manager is responsible for the delivery of the manpower operation, leading the assistant operations management team.

The operations manager is responsible for overall deployed headcount to all of their allocated clients. This will be managed by leading a team of supervisors and coordinators.

This will include:
- Conducting a monthly employee audit, which includes meeting every employee, confirming their accommodation and site locations. The manager will allocate this out to their supervisors and ensure 100% compliance with the process.
- This audit information will then be fed back in to the Business Support manager daily who will check for any missing records. Once identified these will then be handed back to the operations manager to conduct a final check and report back to the admin team within 48 hours.
- Responsible for ensuring there are no illegal activities or works being conducted by our employees
- To report daily attendance, absenteeism, warnings, terminations to the Head of Operations
- To plan and deliver any deployments to any of their clients. This will include movements of new joiners, redeployments and leavers. All movements are to be conducted in line with BU processes and plans are to be signed off by the Head of Operations and Account Managers prior to any movement occurring.
- Maintain an employee query log. Queries will be raised through the Operations Team however all are to be recorded centrally. The operations manager will be responsible for liaising with all other internal BU’s to ensure that all queries are resolved and fed back to the employees within 48 hours.
- Ensure delivery of scorecards in line with group and business unit budgets and expectations
- Provide a weekly report pack to the Director of the BU with an update of all of the above
- Meet with the Top20 clients every month along with the account managers

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years operations management experience ideally within a main contractor within the UAE.
- Experience of compiling and interpreting reports
- Worked within a large organization for a minimum of 3 years within a management role and a minimum of 4 direct reports
- Ideally MBA or similar qualification holder
- Organized and structured in their approach.
- Able to schedule frequent visits to and from clients as well as managing time required within the office.
- Excellent communicator and able to convey messages in a clear and concise fashion
- Able to identify potential risks and opportunities with current working practices, clients or otherwise.
- Able to motivate and drive behaviors within the operations team
