Job description / Role
Job Description:
• Liaising local and international clients and vendors.
• Building relationship with shipping lines.
• Taking import and export vessel schedules from shipping lines on a timely basis and send forecast to clients.
• Checking import regulations of receiving country and organizing shipping documents (includes processing declaration in Mirsal 2 and DP world in Dubai trade online Portal).
• Other tasks may be assign from time to time.

The knowledge and skills usually expected of individuals to succeed in the role of Operations Officer - Sea import and Export are shown below:
• At least 3 years experience of handling ocean freight import and export and direct contact with shipping lines.
• Full understanding of international ocean freight forwarding standard rules and regulations.
• Experience with LCL and FCL
• Strong Knowledge, understand and able to use of Dubai trade Mirsal 2 and DP World.
• Negotiation Skills, Multi-tasking skills, Good Communication skills both verbal and written.
