Job purpose
Perform the loading of CNG trailer in line with company's operational standards to ensure safe transportation and delivery of CNG from mother to daughter stations.
Job specific accountabilities
CNG operations
Inspect the vehicle/trailers before loading to ensure that it is in good condition and highlight any issues to the supervisor.
Perform loading of CNG into trailers in line with daily dispatches to service stations/daughter stations as per given schedules and ensure loading of correct quantities.
Conduct safe loading operations and report to CNG supervisor in case of any emergency or abnormality in loading operations.
Perform similar and related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Collect and record various data related to the process/field equipment in the assigned units and promptly highlight any abnormal operating conditions to supervisor for prompt corrective action.
Monitor safety during loading operations. Have full understanding of safety procedures and adhere to safety dress code (wearing uniform, safety shoes, and protective headgear).
Prepare equipment for handover to maintenance and then return to service in a safe, efficient, and environmentally sound manner in line with defined quality guidelines.
Provide support to maintenance crew and associated third-party service providers to facilitate effective maintenance activities in line with ADNOC Distribution standards.
Carry out routine checks on equipment for abnormalities, report defects noted in equipment, and coordinate with the concerned staff.
Ensure that all breakdowns in the area of responsibility are attended to promptly and equipment is returned to service as soon as possible.
Follow emergency plans and evacuation procedures and use safety equipment and fire extinguishers.
Actively engage in personal and co-worker health and safety to ensure everyone goes home safe every day.
HSE
Follow operations emergency plans and evacuation procedures and use safety equipment and fire extinguishers.
Participate in all operations' HSE campaigns, training courses, awareness sessions, and initiatives deployment to ensure meeting the objectives for each.
Ensure full compliance with PPE and other safety regulations when performing all operations.
Report all incidents and near misses immediately to the supervisor.
Follow company emergency and operations group procedures and participate in emergency drills accordingly.
Fire-fighting operations
Carry out regular and surprise rounds of critical areas of operation as well as facilities to ensure that fire equipment is in workable condition at all times and stop/report unsafe precedents.
Inspect, clean, and test fire-fighting apparatus, tools, and equipment, including hoses and hose fittings, hydrants, ladders, and hand extinguishers to ensure all firefighting equipment is in good condition and ready to be used when required.
Respond to fire or accident alarms from the plant's control rooms, determine the approach to fire's location, make the necessary hose connections to fixed fire hydrants, and start firefighting using appropriate fighting tools according to the source of fire.
Participate in taking emergency actions dictated by the situation to ensure quick and immediate response to the emergency.
Minimum qualification
Qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills:
Minimum 4 years of experience as operator in oil and gas terminal or similar.
Ability to maintain gas logistics between mother and daughter stations.
Good operational and technical knowledge in all aspects of CNG filling stations.
Working knowledge of safety systems at CNG refueling stations.
Good knowledge of English language with good oral and written communication skills.
