Optimization Engineer (Fire Fighting System)

Job description / Role

- Conduct comprehensive analyses of fire fighting systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure fire protection systems meet regulatory standards and performance criteria.
- Utilize advanced simulation tools to model fire scenarios and evaluate system performance under various conditions.
- Perform regular maintenance audits and inspections to ensure systems are operating at peak efficiency.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance system reliability and reduce operational costs.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on optimization findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Work closely with project managers to align system optimization goals with overall project objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection system design and optimization is preferred.
- Certifications such as Fire Protection Engineer (FPE) or Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) are highly regarded.
- Experience working with relevant codes and standards, including NFPA and ISO, is crucial for compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment while demonstrating leadership qualities.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a keen attention to detail and safety protocols.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
