PA to the CFO and HR Director (Temporary) - Dubai
This company is a pioneer in its field and over the last eighty years, they have evolved into an organisation of amazing people. Listed on the London Stock Exchange, they employ over 40,000 people and are present in four continents worldwide. In the Middle East they work on behalf of private corporations, governments and semi-governments and they are now seeking a Temporary PA to cover a period of maternity leave for six months. You will therefore be required to be sponsored already by either a parent or a spouse.
This role of temporary Personal Assistant will be functioning at C-Suite level and will be very much the “right hand person” of the CFO and the HR Director. Strong business acumen and commercial awareness is paramount as there will be an expectation that the PA will have a solid understanding of the group as a whole, in order to be both politically aware across the group and understand the implications and business impact of actions and decisions within their role. Therefore those with strong decision making skills and the ability to react quickly are required. You will also be required to have a very high level of confidentiality due to the nature of the department.
Key responsibilities include providing a full administration and secretarial service to the CFO and HR Director and their business schedules including diary management, arranging and attending meetings and workload management. You will prepare agendas for and attend meetings, take and distribute minutes and engage in follow up for associated actions and deadlines. Working within the HR and Finance Department, you will also be required to support the department with any ad-hoc duties when required.
Our client is specifically looking for a high caliber, business support professional with at least three years’ experience supporting a director or c-suite individual. The role is extremely fast paced and the successful candidate will have the ability to cope with constantly changing deadlines and priorities and be able to process complex business and internal group information. A strong and decisive individual is required in this role, with a preference for those from a HR background.
