Paralegal

Job description / Role

• Prepare, monitor and negotiate core business contracts mainly related to the property development, real estate projects, and any other relevant business, to serve and protect the interest of MBI.
• Provide legal support to management related to disputes, claims and potential court cases.
• Manage disputes with third parties.
• Draft all relevant legal documents for companies under MBI including Memorandum of Association, Service Agent Agreement and any other legal documentation in relation with the group.
• Provide legal support ensuring best practice governance is adhered in consistent manner as per local regulations and requirements.
• Review current legal documentation and ensure that it stays in line with the regulatory and internal policy requirements.
• Review all internal policies, rules and regulations from a legal standpoint, to assure senior management that the group is fully compliant with relevant local legislation and regulations.
• Advising on litigation strategy and managing litigation with external counsels in multiple jurisdictions to protect the Company’s financial and legal interests.
• Advise executives on legal risks of various deals.
• Keep abreast of legislative changes that may affect the company and its affiliates.
• Review leasing, marketing and any contract related to Deerfields mall.
• Review all needed legal documents for any official/governmental agencies.
• Drafting and reviewing of labor contracts, by-laws and internal rules of companies regarding employees and their rights.
• Manage and follow up efficiently the legal services provided by a third party
• Perform Ad-Hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Master degree in law or equivalent.
• Clear understanding of UAE relevant laws and regulations
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledgeable in drafting legal agreements that are bound by the law.
• Skilled in the preparation and drafting legal documentation.
• High knowledge about legal procedures and practices.
• Excellent knowledge in dealing with contracts, asset management, selling and buying of property, court related legalities, etc.
