Employment: Full Time

Our client is currently seeking an accomplished in-house Paralegal to join their internationally recognized Healthcare company, based at the World Trade Centre. The company has a world class global reputation and is a trusted partner to consumers across the globe. Looking to expand its already well- established operations in the region, they are seeking an experienced and competent Paralegal to act as the legal counsel for the MENA region, managing the current legal issues with the opportunity to grow into their role.

Reporting to the Regional General Counsel who is situated in their European office, you will provide full support on a wide range of legal issues and in particular with regards to US export administration regulations and license regimes. As part of your role, you will be responsible for advising, drafting and analysing contracts, providing support and understanding corporate and commercial matters, updating and monitoring the legal database, whilst building and establishing external relationships with management teams across the region.

Requirements

You will have an excellent academic record from a law school with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably from a major law firm, combined with the experience of working as an in-house legal counsel in a multinational company. Fluency in English is essential with fluency in Arabic being a distinct advantage. Fluency in French would be a plus. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills, coupled with a commitment to achieving the highest of standards. Proactivity, good organisational skills and the ability to demonstrate high levels of accuracy are paramount as well as a professional and corporate appearance in line with company image.
